Are you sick of sorting your socks or looking for the missing one? For years the marketing expert Katrin Mengel and the executive consultant Thomas Wingerter were annoyed with these kind of problems. First researches in November 2002 made clear that the loosing and sorting problem was never really solved by anything. A survey among friends and relatives confirmed: Yes, everybody has to deal with this problem. And no, no one knows the right solution. The whole retail industry could not give an adequate solution.
The two decided to develop a practical application and high quality solution. After comprehensive patent investigations the processing of the prototype and test stage could begin. Applications for the patent, samples and name brand registrations were being made, they were in negotiation with producers, wrapping companies and logisticians and they were looking for trade partners. After the establishment of the limited liability corporation, the first production series started in August 2003.
